Greggs the bakers has set up a grants scheme used from the proceeds of the 5p levy on carrier bags. This environmentally focused grants scheme aims to make a difference to people in need at the heart of their local communities, by improving the environment in which they live. Local Community Projects Fund Offering a helping hand to community organisations. The Local Community Projects Fund makes grants of up to £2,000 to help organisations based in local communities to deliver activities that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to. Organisations are able to apply once per calendar year.
