Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.
We are seeking to appoint for the following
positions:
Admin Support Worker
Location: Swansea / Temporarily Remote (Applicants should live within
easy commuting distance of Swansea or willing to relocate)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £ 16,260 per annum pro rata (FTE 35 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term up to 31st March 2022, Subject to funding.
The worker will contribute to the provision of an
effective, efficient and comprehensive Administration Service to the Swansea
Office and Refuge.

Outreach Worker
Location: Cardiff / Temporarily remote
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £ 19,430
Contract: Fixed Term, up to 20th August 2021 - Subject to Funding
The workers will identify and assess female victims
of trafficking throughout the UK and deliver an outreach and accommodation
support service by providing one to one support, signposting and advocacy

Communication and Engagement Officer
Location: Cardiff / Temporarily Remote (Applicants
should live within easy commuting distance of Cardiff or willing to relocate)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £ 23,398 per annum
Contract: Permanent, Subject to funding.
You will play a key role in the messaging and
communications for Bawso helping to deliver our communications strategy, grow
our reach via digital media, including developing our digital offering such as
podcasts, as well as the more traditional media.
Floating Support Worker
Location: Merthyr Tydfil
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £ 19,430 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until 1st February 2022, Subject to funding.
You will work with vulnerable people in their homes
or temporary accommodation to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to
maintain their tenancies, change negative behaviour, maintain their health and
wellbeing, progress to independent living and make appropriate decisions for
the future. The post requires specialist knowledge and experience in dealing
with victims of domestic abuse within a multi-agency co-ordinated response.

Independent Personal Advisor / Independent Domestic
Violence Advocate (IPA / IDVA)
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £ 19,430 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term until 12th December 2021, Subject to funding.
The worker will be expected to provide a
high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse and
wider VAWDSV issues. Delivering a range of early intervention and prevention
work, intensive support, accommodation-based support and group work.
