Apply for unrestricted funding

 

We are now open for funding applications from small specialist charities

This new funding programme will support small specialist charities with an annual income of £25,000 to £500,000 who are helping people overcome complex issues like homelessness, addiction and domestic abuse.

As part of this programme, we’ll award unrestricted grants of £75,000 over three years to around 70 charities in 2023. As well as funding, charities will be able to access additional capacity building support and resources.

An Exciting Opportunity – Project Manager Position

 


The Foundation for Jewish Heritage is looking to commission a consultant or recruit an employee to serve as the Project Manager on the exciting project to create a Welsh Jewish Heritage Centre at the historic former synagogue in Merthyr Tydfil in Wales.

The synagogue is grade II listed and is the most important Jewish heritage site in Wales.

The project received National Lottery Heritage Funding for the Development Phase which was matched by funding from the Welsh Government and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council.

Candidates applying for this position should submit their application indicating their suitability for role, which should cover as a minimum –

  • methodology/approach to undertaking the work
  • skills/experience (with examples of past work)
  • amount requested for undertaking the role within the fee available
  • references

BBC Children in Need - Project Grants Funding Stream

 




Our Project Grants Funding Steam supports the aims and delivery of a specific piece of work with disadvantaged children and young people (up to the age of 18). This work will usually have a time-limit and based on a defined set of activities.

Our Project Costs Funding Stream is for charities and not-for-profit organisations. Applicants to this programme can apply for grants for up to three years. We aim to give quicker decisions for grants of £15,000 or less per year.

Our true friend walked in one day and stayed for many years . She became the Horse Hairdresser and anything else that needed doing.  Even the mucky stuff.  We lost her a few years back  Covid and age related problems.

We have currently have need for help in the office, Outside Farm maintenance, and of course a new Horse hairdresser!

For the last three years, they have supported over 450 organisations across all 22 counties in Wales to raise over £2.1million through a dedicated Wales programme. 


Are you interested in building sustainable income streams, developing your supporter base and raising unrestricted funding? Online fundraising is easy and very cost effective. Through their programme, Crowdfund Wales, Localgiving provides a free year of membership, Gift Aid and training in how to fundraise online. They will support each member to run an online campaign to raise £1,750 towards a need of your choice, which will then unlock £250 of match funding. 

There are also a number of grant opportunities to apply for throughout the year.
