Accounting Basics 5th May 2015

VAMT is running an Accounting Basics course on 5 May at the Voluntary Action Centre, between 9:30 and 3:00, with a light lunch being provided.  Cost is £20 per participant.  Email training@vamt.net if you'd like to attend.

Mid Point Evaluation - Invitation to Tender - MAGNET Project

Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil are seeking to carry out a mid-point evaluation of the MAGNET portfolio of projects.

The aim is;

• To evaluate the effectiveness of the processes and framework in place to manage the portfolio i.e. the steering group, monitoring and reporting processes, and how targets are being tracked
• To evaluate the impact of the projects i.e. is it reaching the right people and gaining ground in influencing services
• To evaluate if the projects are carrying out effective joint working between each other and strategic partners / public service providers
• To evaluate the relationships between the project beneficiaries and strategic partners / public service providers.

As part of an innovative partnership with Community Wellbeing Coaches CIC and funded by DWP’s Flexible Support Fund, Voluntary Action Merthyr Tydfil has a vacancy for a Community Wellbeing Coach/Trainee Community Wellbeing Coach who will work with individuals who need support to be able to access volunteering opportunities and thus gain valuable skills which can help them back into employment.

The post may be offered at either a trainee Coach or Coach level, depending on qualifications held.
