Bowel cancer is the second biggest cause of cancer deaths in Wales and yet a YouGov survey, carried out at the beginning of the year, showed that 48% of the Welsh public couldn’t name a single symptom of bowel cancer. We are focusing on our awareness work and have launched an exciting new volunteer new role – Community Pharmacy and GP Engagement Volunteer. This role is ideal for people passionate about improving cancer outcomes in Wales or for students working on a healthcare course, i.e. Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing etc.
