Bowel cancer is the second biggest cause of cancer deaths in
Wales and yet a YouGov survey, carried out at the beginning of the year, showed
that 48% of the Welsh public couldn’t name a single symptom of bowel cancer. We
are focusing on our awareness work and have launched an exciting new volunteer
new role. This role is ideal for people passionate about improving cancer
outcomes in Wales or for students working on a healthcare course, i.e.
Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing etc.
