Back to meeting Face to Face !
We meet every second Tues of every
month, 2pm at the Bowls Centre Rhydycar.
We have a dedicated Committee
of 10, under the Chairmanship of Judith Smallwood, who work tirelessly to
discuss and plan our years programme.
During our October meeting we celebrated our Treasurers 80th birthday. Mary is a Founder member ,with Anne Gibbs, our Secretary, and Lolita Davies. Three founder members are an inspiration to us all. Speaker at that meeting were Stephanie and Karen - Digital Communities.
We usually get an attendance
of 25-30 people at our meetings. We support each other and have fun!!
Future meetings include
- November 8th -Talk on honey and a stall will be available for Xmas gifts to purchase.
- Annual Autumn trip .November 22nd. This year to Swindon McArthur Glenn.(Prep for Xmas)
- December 13th,meeting will be a celebration buffet for members and entertainment.
This completes the year
2022,when we celebrate 15 years since the first Osteoporosis meeting
held in 2007.
On 20th of this month - a
Conference will be held in the All Nations Centre Cardiff to mark World
Osteoporosis Day, organised by the Royal Osteoporosis Society. Where
patient's stories will be recorded.
