Barod are
delighted to announce that the annual national Pen Y Fan recovery walk is back
for 2022, following a three year break due to the pandemic. This is a chance to
celebrate recovery and other achievements, as well as provide an opportunity
for many to walk up South Wales’ highest peak, while catching up with some old,
and new, friends.
This years walk will take place on Thursday 14th July.
They are aiming for everyone to meet at Pont ar Daf car park (LD3 8NL) at 10.00am. There will be a short briefing at 10.15am with the aim of starting the walk at 10.30am. Their own Tyfu Café will be providing refreshments to all that take part, from 2pm – 4pm. (Please note there is now a £7.50 parking charge at this car park for each vehicle).
If you are aiming to attend, whether as an individual or as a group, from your organisation, they kindly ask you to fill out the short registration form below so they can ensure that they cater for all, as well as adhere to the National Trust nominal License Fee structure of £1 per person, of which the overall cost will be covered by Barod.
