On June 9th 9am-4:30, Voluntary Action Merthry Tydfil, Tydfil Training, Merthyr CBC and Cwmpas will be holding a special event to help local community groups and social enterprises develop ideas to boost their volunteers base and navigate the cost-of-living crisis.
ANYONE and EVERYONE who would like to help community groups and social enterprises based in Merthyr Tydfil area is welcome to attend. We're going to look at solutions to 2 core problems that our community groups are currently facing in Merthyr Tydfil.
These being…
1) Volunteer recruitment/retention,
2)Surviving the cost of living/energy crisis as a community group.
More people = more perspectives. More perspectives = more ideas. More ideas = more solutions!
The venue is Treharris Boys and Girls Club. Lunch will be provided.
