Gofod3
is back again this year from the 20-24 June 2022 and with less than a month to
go we are excited to tell you what’s on the programme so you can start booking.
Gofod3 is
an event organised by WCVA, in collaboration with the voluntary sector. It is
the biggest voluntary sector event of its kind in Wales.
Whether
you’re a trustee, staff member, volunteer or all three, gofod3 is
designed especially for people involved in Welsh voluntary organisations.
With
a whole week of events on offer, including an exciting and busy schedule of
speakers, masterclasses, panel debates and workshops, we can guarantee there’ll
be something for everyone.
Gofod3 was
first established in spring 2017 as an annual, one-day event in Cardiff. Forced
to cancel the event in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were thrilled
to be able to bring back gofod3 back last year, when it was held
online for the first time over the course of a week.
WHAT
TO EXPECT FROM GOFOD3 2022
Our full programme is now live! We
have over 70 events lined-up throughout the week ranging from conversations
about the climate crisis and talks on crowdfunding, to discussing what the
sector can do to ease the cost-of-living crisis.
It’s
going to be a week bursting with discussion and ideas! You can join Grow
Cardiff to talk about social prescribing or the Eden project to discuss
reconnecting communities post-pandemic.
If
those aren’t your cup of tea we have a variety of sessions covering funding and
fundraising, safeguarding or cyber security and many more such as:
Equality,
diversity and inclusion
Digital
Bilingualism
Impact
Volunteering
Running
your organisation
Marketing
and communications
It’s
a phenomenal selection. So don’t waste any time! Go check out the programme and register you

This
is your unique space to reflect, learn and plan for the future.
WHY
ONLINE?
Feedback
from last year’s event showed that people really enjoyed the online format and
many actually preferred it. Based on this feedback, and wanting to make the
week as accessible as possible, gofod3 remains online this year but
with the option of taking part in some face-to-face networking sessions, thanks
to our Third
Sector Support Wales (TSSW) partners.
And
we must thank our sponsors, Darwin Gray, Keegan & Pennykid, Pugh Computers
and The Open University, for their support, both financially and for the events
they’ve chosen to run.
For
the team at WCVA, it is extremely important for us that gofod3 offers
every organisation – large or small – the opportunity to showcase their
invaluable work and develop skills for the future.
We
hope you’re as excited as we are and cannot wait to see you all in June.
