New grants up to £24k for third sector Covid-19 mental health response

 

Mental Health Covid Response Grant

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board have been allocated a £200k Mental Health Covid Response grant to commission new or extend existing support given by voluntary sector providers to support mental health services. They have approached the County Voluntary Councils of Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taff to support with the process.

We are pleased to be offering grants of up to £24k to our members from across the region to help develop or support mental health and wellbeing services that meet:

  • local identified needs
  • CYP
  • Social Isolation (including digital exclusion)
  • Economic Impact (financial wellbeing and food prosperity)
  • Co-occurring Mental Health and Substance Misuse
  • Bereavement Support and Carer Support
