Welsh Government have announced today 11/08/22 that they are reopening the application process for the Carers £500 one off payment to Carers who were in receipt of Carers allowance on or before 31/03/22. Unpaid carers who were receiving Carer’s Allowance on that date (31 March 2022) have this final chance to make a claim if they have not done so already.
It will reopen from 15th August 2022 to 2nd September
2022 and the link to the application form will be on the Merthyr.gov website
early next week. There is only a short window to apply – so be alert and make
other carer’s aware too!
