We
have a six-week bushcraft and survival skills programme designed for men to
support with their mental health and wellbeing.

Sessions will take place in the wild workshop at Cyfarthfa park and participants will need to be signed up before attending.

Protecting the wellbeing of staff and volunteers

People are central to any voluntary organisation and when times are tough we need to remember to support each other and recognise the importance of our wellbeing. This session will look at positive steps that we can all take to look after the staff and volunteers that are the driving force in our organisation.
We will hear from Cynnal Cymru, Breathe and other speakers from across the sector with examples of best practice and useful tips.
This session is an introduction and will be relevant to anyone involved in a voluntary organisation.

Cost-of-living support for individuals and households

We will be joined by experts from Warm Wales, Money and Pension Service and other key advice agencies who will give an overview of their services.
Come along and learn about the help that is available and where to signpost people for relevant advice and information about their money, energy use and other related issues.

The Ironmongers' Company
The Ironmongers’ Company wishes to support projects that provide opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people to fulfil their potential.
Grants are only given to registered charities. Projects must meet all of the following criteria:
- For children and young people under the age of 25 who are disadvantaged
- Consist of educational activities that develop learning, motivation and skills
- Have clear aims and objectives to be met within a planned timescale
- Are within the UK
The Company is looking for projects that deliver clearly defined educational benefits to a specific group of children or young people. Items of equipment will be considered only where a full explanation is given of how they will support this activity.

Children in Need - Core Costs
Core Costs support essential organisational and administrative spending. These are the key expenses required to keep your organisation running.
Our Core Costs funding can be spent on your organisation’s central day-to-day operations. These might include, for example:
- Management and administration
- HR and payroll
- General office expenses
- Accountancy and audit
- Communications and outreach
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Governance, regulatory, and compliance costs
Our Core Costs Funding Stream is for charities and not-for-profit organisations. Applicants to this programme can apply for grants for up to three years. We aim to give quicker decisions for grants of £15,000 or less per year.
