Lark in the Park began as a group at Treharris Park -2 and a Half years ago as it is a 1900's Edwardian Park that was highly cultivated and manicured that fell into the wilds, We are restoring the Park to it's former glory with some modern adaptations. We are focusing on Bio-diversity and the environment.
The people of Treharris have many happy memories of using the park growing up and it has become a secret special place.
The Volunteers have been planting, digging, weeding, clearing, cutting, chopping, tidying, building and painting! There is a job to suit everyone. The main job is to relax, enjoy being outside and have a cuppa! Come along on a Thursday 10.30am-1.30pm to say Hi and meet the Team and we can welcome you to getting involved. Ask For Gill or Annie.
