Job Vacancies - Drink Wise, Age Well

Job Vacancies

Drink Wise, Age Well Programme

We have a number of fixed term posts, both full- time and part-time, as we look for people to join our team during the last year of this exciting Programme

Drink Wise, Age Well is a Big Lottery funded Programme predominantly helping people make healthier choices about alcohol as they age. We do this a number of ways by providing direct support for older adults using alcohol; through family support; by raising awareness via public events, through employers, stands, stalls, workshops and media; by building resilience with social and skills activities in the community for older adults,  through structured group work and through volunteering and befriending; by delivering training. We are recruiting and mentoring peer educators and we are also running campaigns to raise awareness, influence policy and tackle stigma.
If you would be interested in any of the above and have the skills or experience needed to carry out tasks such as direct client work, mentoring, community engagement, administration, data entry, reception skills, group facilitation or training delivery or you think that you could be of value as a paid member of staff, please contact us via the details below.
Please note that any offers of employment are fixed term, from recruitment up until 31st March 2020.

Our services are delivered during office hours Mon – Friday 9am – 5pm. Our offices are based in Pontypridd with services delivered across Cwm Taf.

Salary for these posts will be £19,644.50 - £21,917 pro rata
