Carnegie Challenge:
Is it all about money?
Tuesday 4th November 2014, 5 - 7 pm

Is our well-being only about money? Would greater wealth solve all our problems? Or should we forget about cash and focus on relationships and emotions?  
This debate features two exceptional speakers with diverging views:
·        Peter Kelly is Director of the Poverty Allliance, a ground-breaking Scottish charity which has done much to promote practical action on low incomes and disadvantage.
·        Michael Carrick is the driving force behind many of the UK's infrastructure projects, including the Circuit of Wales, and was formerly Global Head of Merrill Lynch International. 
·        Hosted by BBC Wales presenter Tomos Dafydd.

New course on workers' rights
 
A few places are available on the Identifying and Tackling Discrimination in the Workplace course, run by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (Wales).  The course gives you the skills and knowledge to advise workers on their rights under the Equality Act 2010.
