FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

The Cwm Taf Public Health Team have organised a 2 day Youth Mental Health First Aid Course which is free to volunteers or staff employed in third sector, community or charity groups based in Cwm Taf.

Thursday 13th November and Friday 14th November 2014
Venture Wales, Navigation Park, Abercynon, CF45 4SN
9.30 am to 4.30 pm
Lunch will be provided

If you book a place but are unable to attend, please let Cerys Preece of the Public Health Team know as soon as possible so that they can offer the place to someone else. Cancellation must be made no later than 48 hours prior to the start of the course or a non-attendance fee of £45 will be charged. Please return your forms to Cerys as soon as possible as places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Learning Disability Wales - Training Calendar

Dear friends,

We are pleased to announce the start of our new training programme which will run from October 2014 to April 2015. 

our training courses are designed to increase your knowledge, develop new skills and broaden your experience and understanding of learning disabilities. We bring expert trainers and exciting facilitators to our events across Wales so that you can join us in changing how people work, live and think.

Finding a course
Learning Disability Wales' training programme includes a range of person-centred and practical courses for people in the public, voluntary and private sectors as well as  people with a learning disability and their parents and carers. Refreshments will be available and lunch is included on one day training.
