Child Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (Child IDVA) 

30 hours per week (flexible/ evening and occasional weekend work required)

 £20,652

 Location:                                         Merthyr Tydfil

 Holiday entitlement:                     25 days (plus bank holidays/concessionary days, pro rata)

 Accountable to:                             CYP Project Manager

 Purpose of the post:

• To provide effective, community-based support to children and young people (CYP) aged 3-15 yrs who have witnessed and/or experienced familial or extra-familial domestic abuse.
• The support provided will be tailored according to need, be age-appropriate and solution focused.  Appropriate risk assessments will be conducted.
