Message from Natural Resources Wales

Miki Miyata-Lee is a Senior Officer from from Natural Resources Wales.  See her message below:

I am a partnership specialist, who is keen to promote health and wellbeing of people and environment in Bridgend, Cardiff, Merthyr, RCT and Vale of Glamorgan.

Currently, I am reaching out for new audiences and partnerships, who have interests in promoting any activities involving local greenspace, and seaside/riverside space etc., that can bring environmental, social, economic and cultural benefits to everyone.  It can be both urban and rural area.  What we are looking for is diverse ideas, cultures and creativities which can contribute to South Central Wales Area Statements:

  • Building resilient ecosystems
  • Connecting people with nature
  • Working with water
  • Improving our air quality
  • Improving our health

I currently have a very modest amount of funding called Shared Outcome Request.  Please find the info here  .  If you are interested in having a chat with me, please get in touch.  It doesn’t have to be about accessing to the grant.  It can simply a friendly chat about your local people and places, and how you think we can bring better wellbeing of people with local environmental actions.
