Samaritans
is a registered charity
aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional
distress, struggling to cope, or at risk
of suicide
throughout the United
Kingdom and the
Republic of Ireland. We have 201 branches across the UK and ROI and are
available
24 hours a
day, 365 days a year.
The South Wales Valleys Project is a
new initiative for Samaritans Cymru. We
believe we can develop a strong volunteer base that can
ensure people in the
valleys have our support.
Are you interested?

Help
us to run our project by fundraising or by being part of our management team

Be
a listening volunteer and give support to people who need to talk
·
Be
a support volunteer and help us to raise awareness of the support we offer
·
Help
us train organisations to approach someone they are concerned about
·
Help
us to deliver help seeking sessions to
young people
