Weston Charity Awards opens today

Do you want to increase the impact of your small charity and safeguard its future? The Weston Charity Awards offer a year’s strategic planning support and a core grant of £6,500 to the winning charities.

The Awards celebrate and support great front-line charities in the North of England, the Midlands and Wales working in the fields of youth, welfare and community. Charities with incomes under £5 million can apply from 3rd December 2018 and by 11th January 2019.
Last year, five charities in Wales were among the 20 winners. The Welsh winners were:
  • Cardiff City FC Community Foundation
  • GISDA in Gwynedd
  • Recovery Cymru in Cardiff
  • Swansea Young Single Homeless Project
  • Paul Sartori Hospice at Home in Pembrokeshire
They have all been matched with volunteer business coaches called Pilotlighters and are currently participating in a programme of strategic planning and mentoring. In 2019, could this be you?
